7 months/ 7 meses

last 10th of the month Fernando turned 7 months old!
It was a sunny and warm day. It was the first time that it was warm enough to trow some blankets on the grass and take some sunshine :) Fernando loved the time sunbathing and after that he was exhausted and took a 2 hour nap! Yay for sunshine!

As you can tell in the photos, we have a big baby. He is wearing size 12 months (sometimes 12-18 months). Last week we had an appointment with the Pediatrician because my family doctor kept getting concern about his size. I always felt that there was nothing wrong with my little one, and it was nice to hear the Pediatrician said the same. She told us there is nothing to worry about, he just happens to be a big baby, and lately his growing rate has slowed down considerably :)

At 7 months he is:
  • sitting up by himself
  • chewing fruit and veggies in his baby mash thingy
  • he fights us for toys, hahaha
  • having some kind of "conversation" with us
  • going to the nursery at church and playing with the other babies (so so cute)
  • hugging us
  • reaching arms when he wants to be hold
  • he wakes up and play on his own for like half an hour in the mornings
  • eating a huge variety of baby food. So far there has no been a single thing that he doesn't like. Broccoli, peas, asparagus, squash, beans, etc.
On the not so exciting part... this month was the first time that he got sick :(
Mommy had the awesome idea to feed him casserole jarred baby food (he only had home made baby food). And it was a huge huge disaster! Poor boy! Vomiting, diarrhea and fever for a whole day.
Lesson learned!

Well now, here I leave you with some pics that I snapped

Enjoy
